Checkpoint

Find your next good ride, one climb at a time.

A tiny cycling chalet with a helpful mechanic, a very optimistic route sign and a road to the next world.

Resident Rolo, the hilltop mechanic

The little story

Checkpoint

Checkpoint is a winding cycling route through green hills. A dashed trail climbs toward the summit, a little elevation card keeps score and a bicycle waits by the path with its bell ready. The sun is already up over the ridge.

Rolo is the hilltop mechanic and has a firm opinion about the next climb: it is the last one. Rolo is not a reliable narrator, and everyone who has ridden the route knows it. Rolo still swears the tailwind is real.

Take the route at your own pace. There is a sign counting down the last two kilometers, a bird gliding over the ridge and a bell ready for the descent. Ring it and see what the wind does next.
