Common Purpose is a columned little guildhall with a pediment, a broad welcome and careful proportions, with a rolled drawing, a balanced scale and an open book.
Resident Union, the table setter
Common Purpose
Common Purpose is a little columned guildhall with a proper pediment, a round medallion in the gable and a welcome that suggests the meeting will end on time. It is a place where good work gets done in good company.
Union sets the table here. Union adds another chair whenever someone new climbs the steps, and keeps one spare seat reserved for the idea nobody has said out loud yet. The drawing is always unrolled and the book is always open to the right page.
It is a calm, sensible front door for a group, a guild or a team that wants to look as thoughtful as it feels. Pull up a chair and say who you are, what you make and who you would love to meet.
