Lotus Lookout
A small pause in the current.
A pointed-roof pond pavilion with lotus pads and a timber boardwalk.
Resident Lotty, pond watcher
Lotus Lookout
Lotus Lookout is a pointed-roof pavilion on the edge of a pond, with lotus pads floating below and a timber boardwalk leading out over the water.
Lotty the pond watcher keeps a lantern lit, a short stack of books for slow afternoons and a flower by the door. Lotty watches the water so you do not have to.
Sit out on the boardwalk, count the pads and let the reflections do the work. It is a calm place to pause, write a note and see what the pond has been up to.
