Olive Press
Olive Press is a pantry with a glass roof, stocked shelves and a narrow side entrance, where the light comes down through the panes and lands on the jars. It smells like bread, which is always the first clue that lunch is nearly ready.
Olea the branch collector gathers an olive sprig for every guest and keeps a fresh loaf close to the door. A silver leaf sometimes drifts onto a plate, and Olea says that is a very small invitation to a very long lunch.
Pull up a stool and take your time. A pantry page is a good place to say what you make, what you share and who you cook for, with the table set and nobody in a hurry.
