Quill Cottage is a little writing house sheltered under an open book. A ribbon bookmark hangs from the roof, and a cream page near the top keeps fluttering, as if the next sentence has already started without you.
Quill is the sentence gardener. Quill plants words one at a time, waters them with ink and never pretends to be surprised when the first line finally arrives. A pen, an inkwell and a small manuscript are kept close by for the work ahead.
Drop in with a half-formed idea and leave with a first line. Quill will not say what the line should be, only that it is a good place to begin.
