Studio Sol

Make room for good ideas, one sunbeam at a time.

A crooked little atelier with a pencil chimney, a sunlit window and an easel that paints back.

The little story

Studio Sol

Studio Sol is a sunlit studio with a sculptural roofline, an arched doorway and a round window with a cross of light. The sign by the door gives the name, and the afternoon sun agrees with it.

Alba is the sunbeam curator. Alba rearranges the studio at 4:17 every afternoon, when the light is just right, and nudges the small ceramic sculpture until it looks like a very good beginning.

Come by in the late afternoon and watch the room change. A little bird passes the window, a chimney puffs and an easel holds a painting that is never quite finished. It is a good home for an airy portfolio grid.

    The little bird

A tiny green bird perches near the plant pot, too still and too shy to be caught in a sketch.

A tall pencil rests against the roof, ready to sign the sunset when it comes.
