Brush Foundry
Where a single stroke opens a little door.
Brush Foundry is a sawtooth-roof studio with skylights, a courtyard and a place to make a mess, with a working brush, a paint tin and a pencil.
Resident Bristle, the mark maker
Brush Foundry
Brush Foundry is a sunny workshop with paint on the floor and brushes lined up like tall, friendly neighbors. Its big sign says: make something only you could make. Paint splashes gently across the steps, and a pencil waits by the door for the first sketch.
Bristle is the mark maker here. The oldest brush in the shop has a habit of drawing tiny doors on the floor, and Bristle opens each one to let a new idea in. Nobody minds the smudges.
It is a lively place to show your work, your process and the marks that make you recognizable. Come in, pick up a brush and see what turns up.
