Rope & Anchor
Rope & Anchor is a dockside cottage beside a slender beacon and a neat collection of anchors. Everything about it says the boats can wait, because the coffee is still warm and the water is not in a hurry.
Ropey is the harbor cat. Ropey keeps the beacon lit, checks the tide twice a day and drops anchor whenever a visitor looks like they need a longer stay. The official harbor forecast is stay a little longer.
Settle onto the dock, listen to the water and watch the light sweep across the bay. It is a small place to come back to, again and again.
