Change your casa’s primary address
Verify the new address first, then make it primary and decide whether the old one redirects or is disconnected.
Connect and verify the new address before making it primary. Open it directly and confirm that it serves the correct casa over HTTPS. Keep the existing address working during this check; changing the displayed address alone does not configure DNS.
In the casa’s address settings, choose the verified address as primary. Review the treatment of the old address: keeping it as a redirect and disconnecting it are different actions. Approve only the behavior you want and confirm the operation’s result.
Test the new address, the old address and a link shared previously. Check that redirects do not loop or send visitors to an unrelated casa. Update your profile links, email signature and any campaign links you control. Search results and third-party links may still show an older address.
If the new address fails, return to a known working verified address while investigating. Do not delete the old DNS records until the new route and recovery plan are confirmed. Domain registration and renewal remain separate responsibilities, even when an address only redirects.
